Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey hired me to capture President Bill Clinton’s appearance at a fundraiser at Cavallo Point in Sausalito, CA.

The President’s helicopter touched down and a sleek stream of black SUV’s appeared.   Everyone was jockeying for their positions.  I let the Secret Service agent know that if I bumped into her, I didn’t mean to and asked her not to shoot me. “If I shoot you, I’ll mean to,” she deadpanned.

The President addressed about 60 VIP’s and gave a riveting talk about the global economic crisis.

Mark Buell, philanthropist, Democratic Party fundraiser and President of the Board of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy,
laughed in response to one of the President’s many hilarious quips.

After I made portraits of the President with the guests,  he told me, “You did a great job.”  To which I replied, “You too.”
